Growing up Swiss-Canadian means a multi-lingual upbringing: French immersion at school (half English/ French), Saturday morning German school, and Swiss German at home. Spanish was for fun, Italian comes of its own, and I gave Telugu a go.
'Native-speaker' German-English translation is a popular service, and I'm happy also to provide
copy-editing support. My specialities are living architecture and the associated disciplines, but I'm proficient in other fields, too (e.g. material sciences, music).
My goal is to facilitate the fluid transfer of information, and I strive to render your work into a smooth and concise English document.
Examples of my translation work can be found as abstracts and keynotes for the proceedings of World Green Roof Congress (Basel 2005), and forewords and papers for the International Green Roof Congress (Nuertingen 2009).
